What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get clients contact information so we can work with them to determine exactly what they need in the way of a pool management system. Things like pool size, location of pool equipment pad, size of pool, residential or commercial, is this a pool, fountain, cooling tower, commercial test tank etc. We have options to serve numerous applications and installations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With more than 40 years in the industry and more than 40 pool equipment patents over the years uniquely positions us as pool and chlorine generation experts in our field. The Chlorine Genie System is cutting edge.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies regionally. Chlorine Genie directly services and carries out installations and sales of our pool products in most of Northern California, though we have trained stocking (independent business) distributors in many popular pool regions nationally who sell, service, install Chlorine Genie Products. We also carry out sales to pool owners in non serviced areas and are happy to work with your local pool professional or service provider.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We began in the sales, service and repair of a now antiquated salt water pool system more than 40 years ago. See our history on our website at chlorine genie.com
What types of customers have you worked with?
You name it we have done it. Commercial test tank installations, cooling towers, swimming pools commercial and residential, water features, fountains, etc.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We love the success our Chlorinator has brought to the fountains at the Mormon Temple in Oakland CA.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Thoroughly evaluate and do your homework on any pool system you are thinking about buying. Salt Water Pools have long been over marketed to an unsuspecting public. Many are not aware of the hidden costs, risks, troubles, etc. yet are quick to run off and buy one because everyone else has. Get the Facts! See "salt water pool problems on our YouTube channel.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How much time do you really want to spend on your pool maintenance? Do you want to purchase, handle, store, and dispense hazardous pool chemicals? What are you willing to pay to have a system take care of your pool or a professional to care for your pool? Will the system you are looking at truly meet your needs and expectations? What hidden costs, expenses, and potential problems may exist with the pool system you are looking to instal?
