Matthew, owner and only one working, did a very unsatisfactory job. I made specific requests before hiring and during and he did not comply. When I reached out to him giving him a chance to make things right, he sent me a nasty email. If you decide to use this business, double check the work thoroughly before you pay him. Unfortunately, I walked around the house taking only a glimpse of things before I made the final payment. Then after he left I found things he failed to do and things done against my wishes. I recommend for future jobs to do everything agreed upon, to not display his temper to customers, and to learn exactly the correct way to weed and edge. Including discarding the clods of excess dirt with grass attached before mulching (weeds and grass will NOT decompose) and learn that "weeding" is pulling ALL weeds not leaving some showing through the mulch.
