My two boys have taken cooking classes from Tanya the Homestyle Gourmet for years. They love her classes, camps and workshops. My 13 year old will often make cookies on his own in the evenings AND HE CLEANS UP AFTER HIMSELF! My 11 year old makes a variety of different guacamoles on his own and they both are interested in helping with meals and meal planning.

Tanya has been cooking for my brother 2 days a week for about 6 months so far. She's talented, professional, on time and personable. She creates delicious and varied menus that incorporate restrictions based on medical needs. She shops day of meal prep so it's always the freshest ingredients. She leaves the kitchen neat and clean. I try to be very clear and straightforward about what is included in the price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk or email with customers to find out what their specific needs are. After that, I can prepare some suggestions based on what we've discussed. I will email the suggestions and then follow up within a few days.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a culinary certificate program at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts.
