Introduction: Our prices do start at about $200 per hour. However, Thumbtack clients get a special pricing and we work with all budgets. I love bringing to life artistic images that represent the different sides of my clients lives and occasions. Getting to know different clients, their needs, and what is important to them I strive to bring to life the moment they see in their mind. The important thing in a photo session is for my client to feel comfortable enough to allow their personality to shine thru. We do not stop until we capture essence of their vision. My pasion lies in capturing creative and artistic lifestyle images according to the personality of my clients. I believe that people and love are the reasons and motor that pushes us in everything that we do. It is also those two things that I truly enjoy the most about what I do. Creating an image from what fuels our motivation and vision is the only way to arrive at an artisitic image and bring the vision of what we have in our minds and hearts to life.

Ariel was patient, professional and calm for our family photo shoot despite two kids under age 2 presenting several challenges. He was warm and adaptive and a trooper in getting the kids to sit still and coax them into getting their pics taken. It was a challenging shoot but he kept his calm and tried several different times to get us great photos. We will definitely call him again!

I hired Ariel to take photos incognito on 1000 Steps Beach in Laguna Beach of my fiance and I before, during and after I proposed to her at sunset. Ariel did a fantastic job for us and took the time to understand my vision for the whole experience. It didn't feel like I was just hiring a contractor. Rather, he was invested in the process and even brought on an assistant to get different angles. I also surprised my fiance by bring her parents in from Brazil and my sister and mom. Ariel captured the proposal beautifully but also took amazing pictures of us all celebrating on the beach. He was passionate and punctual (which was hugely important given the surprise nature of it!). I would highly recommend Ariel!

Hire Ariel for your photography needs... seriously. Ariel shared complex, detailed information as to the best time to shoot photos at my planned destination days ahead of time like a true professional. Ariel was great, he was waiting for me early at our assigned meeting location when we met in person and he even rescheduled our photoshoot when I had an unforeseen issue come up. Ariel went above and beyond in getting the best shots, getting dirty in the environment we were shooting, and even carried all of my stuff so I wouldn't get dirty for the rest of the photos. Ariel has a great sense of humor and I had a great time chatting about many different topics to break up the slight awkwardness of a photoshoot. Ariel's a true professional and I'm going to make sure all my friends and family use him moving forward.

If I could choose a 10 for rating This Man I most definitely would... To me Family Photos are something very special and personal I felt like We knew him for ever .. He was so down to earth and so incredible with our Daughter who is border line special needs Amazing with kids ❤️ He got her involved showed her the pictures he took She was so good and did every pose he asked of her 💕 My husband comes off a little intimidating at times and he too felt very comfortable we laughed the entire photo shoot my husband is hilarious but only around people he feels comfortable with and we were all laughing the entire time. If you are looking for someone that will go out of there way to capture unique Pictures then he is the one for you❤️ Thank You again for a Wonderful Photo shoot experience👍

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The fees are not set in stone. As with all the different needs of my clients the prices can be adjusted slightly depending on the needs and wants. For purposes of Thumbtack it requires a starting pointing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask a series of questions from new clients and get to know what they envision as their end product. If I know what their hobbies are, likes and dislikes it is easier to create a look or a more customized photo session.
