What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free 30-minute session to every first-time client. After that, if the client gives me the opportunity to work with him or her, I offer different packages depending on the client's needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a first-time coaching/mentoring client, I usually hold a free 30-minute session to know their specific goals and challenges. During this session, the client has the chance to assess my style and coaching approach, and I have the chance to get to know my client so I can deliver a better service in the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold an official coach certification from the International Coaching Community (ICC). However, my qualifications go well beyond my coaching certification. In fact, becoming a certified coach is fairly easy. However, becoming a certified coach after building a successful career in business, academia, and sports is a whole different value proposition. With me, the client gets an MIT Economist, a successful entrepreneur, a Galileo Scholar, and a Pan-American Champion of Karate as a coach and mentor.
