FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An in-depth phone conversation will help to further understand the client’s needs and to share my approach to the project. I expect both of us will ask and answer plenty of questions so that a clear plan is worked out as a team. Once we've agreed on working together I have them send me a reservation fee of half up front. I also will fill out a contract with them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BFA Communication Design - Parsons School of Design in New York. Photography courses - ICP (International Center of Photography), New York and The Maine Media Workshops, Maine, RMTF (Roberto Mata Taller de Fotografía) and La ONG (Organización Nelson Garrido), Caracas. Extensive experience with post-processing and photo retouching using Lightroom and Photoshop (color correction, tonal and color enhancing, background cutout and background substitution, portrait/beauty/body retouching, hair masking, photo montage, and photo restoration). Over 10 years using various lighting equipment, medium format and 35mm cameras.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Over the years my clients have included ad agencies, magazines, small brand companies, and people from all walks of life: families, business executives, realtors, chefs, industrial designers, artists, musicians, actors, entrepreneurs, writers, architects and fashion designers. I provide services for: headshots, portraits (individual, family), food photography, product photography, artwork and Airbnb locations.
