FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tuckpointing varies in cost from square footage, height of where the tuck-pointing is needed, if historical or if any special equipment will be needed to complete the project. When it comes to flatwork you always get what you pay for. We have warranties on all installation’s, 3 years on artificial turf installation and 10 years on pavers. We have a process using 5” of 3/4” road base on patios, 10” on driveways, then a 1” bed of sand with pavers laid on sand bed. The artificial turf is basically same process, but does not get sand bed above road base. Depending on if it’s a dog run, putting green, or sports fields can determine what materials and procedures will be needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Go to location, meet with the customer, listen to what they expect out of the project, give any suggestions I may have, and send them a honest itemized estimate quickly. If hired we are always punctual, professional, and do the highest quality craftsmanship available. As well as clean the job site so it is picture perfect when we leave. Much of our business comes from referrals so we go above and beyond for EVERY customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in this profession for over 12 years. Before doing masonry I was a project manager for a construction company. A few of my crew members have worked for the largest Colorado paver installation company. We do amazing paver work, we are a masonry company that does pavers, not a landscape company that does pavers. I also have a certification from Cathedral Stone for stone patching, mortar matching, historic Masonry restoration, maintenance and repairs.
