Artificial Turf Installation
Sean and his crew did an excellent job with my artificial grass/landscape project. I contacted Sean after ‘19th greens’ never showed x3 to complete work. He took on my project at a moments notice and was professional, detail oriented, and easy to work and communicate with. I highly recommend and will use 1016 masonry for future projects.May 25, 2018Verified
The day I met Sean Comer - 10Sixteen Masonary & Landscapes - was my lucky day. I was at the artificial turf store placing my order when he walked in. After a little conversation he asked if I wanted him to install my turf. I had read all the DIY articles and didn't think the install would be a deal but I opted to have Sean come over and do it for me instead just to get it done sooner than later. It turned out to be money well spent with the weight of the roll of sod and all the little tricks of the trade, Sean's work ethic, and his attention to detail it ended up as a professional looking finished product rather than my DIY project. Sean's cost was less than I had been quoted by others and he is a good guy. I highly recommend him for your next artificial sod project.Apr 23, 2019
Artificial Turf Installation
Sean came and took measurement of my lawn. He was very professional. He explained the differences on several artificial turfs. And sent an email with the price. Next day I decided to wait till next year to do it when I sell my place. I am keeping his business card.May 31, 2018Verified
Fireplace and Chimney Installation
Sean was great to work with. He really knows his stuff when it comes to Masonry work. He showed up on time each day and did a great job. He kept his work area clean and was very polite and professional. We are still in awe at our amazing new fireplace. We would recommend Sean because he was fair, reasonable, on time, courteous and knowledgeable. You can tell he knows what he is doing and we appreciate what he did for us in such a quick time frame. If you need work done, call Sean first!Feb 26, 2018Verified
Masonry Construction Services
Sean and his crew did an absolutely amazing job installing my paver driveway extensions. He gave me a thorough explanation of the work and materials required and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. He offered the most reasonable quote and a five-year warranty for his work. Initially he told me the job would take about four days, which was more than reasonable. It was actually completed ahead of schedule in about two days. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the finished product and will definitely contact 1016 Masonry for future projects.Jan 9, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Tuckpointing varies in cost from square footage, height of where the tuck-pointing is needed, if historical or if any special equipment will be needed to complete the project. When it comes to flatwork you always get what you pay for. We have warranties on all installation’s, 3 years on artificial turf installation and 10 years on pavers. We have a process using 5” of 3/4” road base on patios, 10” on driveways, then a 1” bed of sand with pavers laid on sand bed. The artificial turf is basically same process, but does not get sand bed above road base. Depending on if it’s a dog run, putting green, or sports fields can determine what materials and procedures will be needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Go to location, meet with the customer, listen to what they expect out of the project, give any suggestions I may have, and send them a honest itemized estimate quickly. If hired we are always punctual, professional, and do the highest quality craftsmanship available. As well as clean the job site so it is picture perfect when we leave. Much of our business comes from referrals so we go above and beyond for EVERY customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been in this profession for over 12 years. Before doing masonry I was a project manager for a construction company. A few of my crew members have worked for the largest Colorado paver installation company. We do amazing paver work, we are a masonry company that does pavers, not a landscape company that does pavers. I also have a certification from Cathedral Stone for stone patching, mortar matching, historic Masonry restoration, maintenance and repairs.
