- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is $75 per hour for typical writing projects. Due to the fickle nature of writing and the different challenges that each project brings, I charge hourly as opposed to a set project fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a brief introduction, I like to talk about what their goals are with this piece and how they see the tone/voice of the piece living and breathing. Once we have that set, we will go over the medium and see if what they are asking is jiving with their stated goals. After that, it's time for me to slave over a hot laptop keyboard until it's done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in psychology and a degree in strategic communications with a focus on creative advertising. I work full time as a copywriter for an agency in downtown Minneapolis and have experience getting work published in a variety of places.
