FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I currently charge a flat rate of $30 per hour for virtual assistant services (i.e., mostly services that do not involve a great deal of face-to-face work on Skype). I charge a flat rate of $40 per hour for tutoring, teaching, and similar via Skype, and $100 per hour for life coaching (also conducted via Skype).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with conversation, discussing (via Skype or email) what exactly they are looking for, why they hired me, and then together forming a plan to move forward to meet their goals and needs. Depending on the task, I will regularly check back in with the client to make sure things are progressing to their satisfaction. For me, the dialogue is a key piece in ensuring that the client is pleased and that there is clarity and lack of frustration in the working relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked online for nine years as a creative entrepreneur, and am highly experienced in social media management, networking, customer service, newsletter management and template design for MailChimp, content creation, basic audio and photo editing, and more. I have done everything that it takes to run a small business or work as a solopreneur, and am prepared to help take some of those tasks off your hands. I am also highly educated, holding an undergraduate degree from Hamilton College in writing, and a Master's in education from Boston College. In addition, I am a certified dance fitness instructor with OULA Fitness.
