This is our first time use Thumbtack's service to find a contractor. We have a couple of areas in the house need to have tiles installed. We got 3 company showed interest in our project. Two contractors showed up to provide estimates but another one did not follow up through. George was the first one responded to our project and consistently followed up through the project until the end. The project took George two days to complete. He showed up on time and worked very independently and efficiently. He is organized and kept the worksite very clean. The tile work he finished was beautiful. It turns out exactly like the design we handed off to him. I am a project manager working with many fortune 100 firms. When I check work, I tend to look into more details than most people would have. It is a nerve breaking process to bring in someone work on project who you never met when you have high expectation for the quality of work. Thought I will share my personal experience and strongly recommend George for his work. I definitely will bring him back to work on other future projects.

Our entire experience with George was excellent. He was prompt in his replies on Thumbtack and reached a few minutes early on his first appointment. He gave us a quick quote the next day after looking at the job. He even suggested a few design ideas of things that can build. He showed up on time on the first day of the job. Was happy to see him cover up the demolition area with a small tent that blocked the dust from covering the entire furniture. Also he cleaned up well before he leaving on all 3 days. The tiling job was flawless and very clean. He also took care of hauling the debris, which was great. Overall, it was a good experience working with both George and Thumbtack. -Su

George is a top contractor. Reasonable quote. Very professional and detail-oriented. Excellent work on my kitchen tiles. Paid a lot attention to details. Also, he is also willing to help out on small things here and there. I am very happy that i hired him.

I needed a fun, vintage door installed. At first, it was going to be a bathroom door, but after measuring and trying to see if it would work, George offered his honest opinion that it wouldn't work. So instead we tried my closet door! George had to reframe my door. It looks absolutely amazing! He got the supplies, reframed the door frame, installed the door along with the hardware and it seriously looks so good. He did a great, professional job and quick. I highly recommend his work! And will be hiring him in the future for other misc things.
