- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Travel Industry pricing are always changing. It is hard to provide pricing at first request on Thumbtack. Once we get picked by the clients to provide quote, we set up a call to make sure we meet the needs and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gather all the information of client's needs and budget via phone call and follow up with e-mail. Research and provide options to make sure we meet the needs and budget. We shop around to make sure we getting the lowest possible price. Put the booking on hold and send final itinerary to the clients to review and get Hi5 to proceed. Make final booking. Provide on vacation services. Follow up after vacation to make sure everything went well which has helped us to make constant improvements and selecting right resort and flights.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We attend ongoing destination trainings offered by our suppliers to keep up with the destination information and changes. We research visa requirements for international destinations.
