Introduction: Hello, my name is Elizabeth Berghuis and I currently live in west Michigan and shoot weddings all over the great lakes state..
I am a black coffee drinker, I love camping and being outdoors, I could eat pizza and tacos for every meal and my favorite part of weddings is the dinner and watching people dance.
Shooting in natural light and editing true to life color within my photos is my sweet spot. I capture moments as they unfold. I have experienced shooting weddings in backyards, wineries, barns, country clubs and even microbreweries... my personal favorite.
I began shooting weddings because I believe in marriage and the covenant that two people make on their wedding day. I believe in the power of love and it makes my heart happy to be able to create art during one of the most cherished parts of someone's life.
At the heart of my business is my clients. Everything I do is because of them and making their day the best it can be.
As a wedding photographer I choose to be present and aware of my brides needs, to ease any anxiety they may feel before the big day and support them whenever they need it.
I have worked organizing many different types of events so my strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to stick to timelines will allow my clients to enjoy the day and not worry about the details. Also, not too brag but I have great skills in being able to make my grooms feel comfortable snuggling up to their bride and smile even if they hate taking pictures.

My favorite thing about taking people's photographs is capturing emotion. Many people say that a picture says a thousand words and I love writing their stories with images. I love love; what can I say! I also love supporting couples during their day. Being asked to stand next to someone during their wedding day is one of the biggest privileges ever. My clients become like family and I want them to feel loved, and stress free.
