FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in a pharmacy for 17 years, serving the general public. By meeting so many people, sick and healthy, every interaction for me was a teaching moment. I feel that I've learned to be personable and help people, and I enjoy that very much. The great thing about being a notary, is that I can use the skills I already have when I'm meeting people under different circumstances and can help them complete their notarization and make it a good experience for them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've worked in the healthcare industry as a pharmacy technician for 17 years. For a while I've wanted to serve the public in a different setting. When I bought my first home, I was intrigued by the notary public that came to my home for my signing. I thought that this could be something that I would enjoy doing. Slowly but surely, I want to grow my business as a notary public.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A notary is not an attorney and, therefore, cannot give legal advice about any legal matter.
