Introduction: I'm a local photographer who travels quite a bit with her work. I love what I do, so I am constantly learning and getting better at photography. The thing that really makes me stand out is my understanding of clients' needs. I am very personal and relaxed on photo shoots, and I give very fast turn-around time (usually next-day for families, and 1-2 weeks for weddings), which is very unique, especially among wedding photographers. At weddings, I also give the couple the option to have their pictures that day. I bring my computer and put all the raw (full-res, unedited) photos onto a flashdrive. I honestly love what I do and just want to do more of it. I would do it for free, except I have bills and expensive camera equipment to pay for. ;) I love photography. I love meeting new people, figuring out their personal style, best side, etc, and watching them grow comfortable in front of the camera. I also really enjoy the editing part of photography. It's an art form, for me. So even if you're not amazing in front of the camera, I love making you look more like yourself in the post-production process.

Mercy and Matthew were a miracle. They worked on our wedding photos, videography, invitations, thank-you cards, and a beautiful album. I cannot express how lovely the final product, but more importantly, the process of working with them was. They are just wonderful people. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have standard wedding photography/videography prices for the Idaho area. Thumbtack doesn't allow us to reference a link in this section, but it ranges from $550 (for a basic, short wedding package) to $2,500 (for a photographer and videographer, wedding album cinematic wedding day edit and trailer, etc).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with the customer, get to know what they want, then quote. For weddings, I like to meet the couple in person, talk about style, wedding details, etc. For family portraits or headshots, I just like to take a little time to get to know the family or person, figure out their favorite expressions, style, etc, then start shooting.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm a visual person by nature. All of the technique I've learned over the years from books and teachers came naturally to me. I see art wherever I go, and photography helps me capture that.
