Introduction: Since our launch in early 2015, Ring Of Fire has enjoyed providing catering and event services throughout Napa Valley and the Bay Area. Our catering truck is a show stopper and our specialty is events featuring casual abundance of Napa. We love to share authentic brick oven pizza and classic Texas style barbecue, and our customers love us. While we mostly focus on pizza and BBQ, we often branch out to feature oysters and ceviche, Italian pasta dinners, taco bars, whole hog roasts, full Brazilian menus and much more. We can provide super casual service, buffet style, family style or plated. We are happy to work from our mobile kitchens or utilize what our customers provide (or both). Above all, Ring Of Fire enjoys making people happy and exceeding their expectations on some of the most important days of their lives (or just their week, month or year)! It is a tremendous source of pride to get so many kudos at our events. Our food and service is an extension of ourselves and it is humbling that so many people love us. We have significant repeat business and have enjoyed tremendous word of mouth referrals. ROF is perfect for weddings, welcome and rehearsal dinners, social gatherings, and company events...or for any job that calls for friendly, helpful and expert service with great food and one of a kind style.

Wow! We choose Ring of Fire to cater our wedding based on basically two criteria… quality and price. The former being the most important… but accommodating 150+ people played heavily into our decision as well. Fortunately my Mother-in-Law knows food, is a chef herself, and recommended we check them out. From the start it was a very positive experience. Early on, Collin, part owner, took time to meet with us on a Sunday over coffee to discuss our vision. After a short time we landed on a menu both my bride and I were excited about and that stuck to our budget. He even followed us up to the venue site to scope out the logistics. Bonus! Their whole mobile operation is run out of an old Army transport rig. Painted black of course with a cargo container on the back housing the kitchen and wood fired pizza oven! It is quite a presence in itself… they rolled up, deployed their own buffet line, party string lights, and even a cornhole set. We had a variety of passed pizza hors d'oeuvres starting during cocktail hour, continued during dinner service, and followed into the evening. But the main event was dinner! Pulled pork sliders, delicious juicy grilled chicken, German potato salad, a beautifully simple arugula salad, killer house-made pickles, and even chips and salsa! Even my bride couldn’t resist cleaning her plate… and you know how they always ‘forget’ to eat on their big day. I can’t tell you how many people raved about the food as we made our customary way around the tables after dinner. We were so happy and super impressed! We knew it was going to be good… but hot damn! It was excellent!

Ring of Fire offers an excellent catering experience, I first tried their delicious eats at a wedding and have now booked and enjoyed them for two corporate lunch events. Their food is phenomenal (coming from a spoiled Napa Valley local) and they are a pleasure to work with! I will be booking them for years to come!

We wanted something different for our garden party event and we got it!! It started quite impressively when their catering truck pulled up... The staff was attentive and efficient throughout our event. The food was fabulous. The thin crust pizzas were a hit! Staff did a great job keeping our beverage area well stocked and iced. I asked them to do this last minute and they were happy to help. Gabe always returned my calls and made our event stress free and fun! Great music too!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Ring Of Fire typically quotes each job to suite our client's needs and every event and client is different. We focus on providing everyone with exactly what they want if possible. We do offer a couple of standard boxed catered lunch or dinner options for delivery. Please contact us for more details.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to make things as simple and timely as possible. After discussing the basics (date, number of guests, service style, location, budget, etc…) we typically provide a proposal within 24 hours. Should a client require a tasting or if they would like to meet in person we set up that meeting. Once we have decided on the event plan, a simple contract is executed, a 50% deposit reserves the date, and away we go.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both Ring Of Fire partners have long and extensive experience in every phase of restaurants and catering, from fine dining to super casual.
