We’re giving MV Flooring the one star rating of “Terrible” and can’t think of a better word to describe our experience. Marco and his crew horribly botched their first attempt at refinishing our floors. Not only was the new dark stain streaky, but there were thousands of bubbles in the polyurethane. Marco agreed that it was not right and offered to redo the floors, taking off the amount we would have to shell out for an extra week’s hotel from the total price. We were pleased with this resolution; if only it had come to fruition. Not only was the second attempt sloppier than the first (the bubbles were gone but the stain is even blotchier and there are swirl marks from the sander throughout), but Marco left the job unfinished. Even though we only asked for a $500 discount to offset the more than $1000 we spent in accommodations, Marco acted like this part of the agreement was news to him when the time came. No sooner did we give Marco his final, unearned payment did he go silent on us. Never returning our many calls and texts to come complete the two unfinished rooms.
Working with MV Flooring has been a hard lesson in you get what you pay for. Marco’s price was much lower than any other quotes we received and we now know why. The thousands of dollars we paid him were a complete waste of money and we’re left with only a mess.
BOTTOM LINE: Avoid MV Flooring at all costs or it will cost you.

I had 680 sq ft of Brazilian hardwood flooring that needed refinishing. Marco was very reasonable with the price and was flexible with scheduling. He did a great job and the floors look perfect!

All the big wigs around town quoted higher price and no one could start until end of August. Marco contacted me within two hours of inquiring, then he showed up at my house at 7:45 am the next day to check out the floors as I had requested. We scheduled for Friday, he called and proposed to do the job a day early, which was more than okay with us. He and his crew knocked the job out in two days and did an amazing job! Very professional,proficient, and affordable. Highly recommend!!
