FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price jobs to give the customer the best possible job quality, I always do my best to be competitive and I always work with my customers as I would rather make less than just walk away. I warranty all my work and since I stand behind my work I want to make sure that it's put it in right which cost more, but i work hard to stay in a reasonable price area for build quality and I am always checking on material prices and apply savings when I can. I offer discounts for repeat customers, military, senior, church, newlyweds, and first time home buyers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I go out of my way to let them know they can trust me. Trust is the most important thing in any relationship, and business relationships between contractor and customer is not an exception. I listen to what they want and do my best to work with them to achieve that instead of trying to sell them on something else that may be easier or more profitable. A customer wants someone who they can trust and not take advantage of them who has their interests in mind. That's what I strive to be and what I try to show first to customers. Creating a business relationship first built on trust builds long term clients and some of those clients have become friends. I want my customers to know and feel that they can talk to me and I will always work with them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was raised and brought up in this kind of work. My father gave me the freedom to choose this or another work career, but once I showed him this was what I wanted to do he groomed me for this and invested in me learning from working for him and other business', to schooling and hiring extra workers to teach me other areas that I was interested in. He wanted to teach me everything he knew and go beyond that. Growing up in this business plus the schooling and other training I received has given me what I think is a unique understanding of my field which allows me to better explain and understand customers better and makes me have a more rounded knowledge of my field. I continue this by attending conventions and staying up to date on any changes and advancements in our business.
