- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently enrolled at Paul Mitchell the school Louisville, I work with Dior at Macy's, I've received advanced training in makeup application with Marie Fulkerson Makeup, I've taken classes in men's grooming and cutting, bridal updos with Moroccan oil, and numerous color classes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved makeup and hair, but it wasn't until I decided to go lavender purple with my hair 4 years ago until I learned a lot about it. When I had my appointment to drastically change my hair I wasn't educated on how to do it properly and they fried my hair. after that I took it upon myself to educate myself and found a real passion for the beauty industry. So I quit my job in corporate america and decided to go to cosmetology school.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with brides, bridesmaids, prom girls, doing engagement sessions, senior photos, special occasion, birthday parties, women wanting lessons, runway, and headshots.
