Introduction: I love meeting new clients and working with them to formulate a great menu tailored to their event needs and help to plan a successful function. We sometimes get clients that either short-plan events or their caterer cancels on them with little notice and then they search and find us. I do my best to keep them calm and once I understand the details of the event and I am sure we can accommodate I assure them that they are in great hands and not to worry because I want their event to be a success as much as they do.

If I could give a better rating, I would. NOLA Girl Catering was fantastic! The start-to-finish experience couldn't not have been any better or easier. NOLA Girl catered a party we had the night before our destination wedding in our rental home courtyard for about 20 people. Response time, picking out the food choices, making a payment - all very straightforward and simple. However, the best part was the food! Everything was delicious and all of our guests raved about how good it was. My favorites were the crab cakes and the brisket quesadillas, and the bananas foster bread pudding was AH-MAZING! I would highly recommend NOLA Girl to anyone who needs fantastic food for any occasion. Thank you, NOLA Girl Catering!

Dannielle Judie prepared a wonderful meal for my wife's birthday party. We had 40 people and plenty of delicious food. Dannielle is very professional. She developed a diverse menu with a traditional New Orleans focus. She showed up on time for every meeting and she followed through on everything she agreed to do. We had meatballs which everyone loved and the best chicken and andoullie Sausauge gumbo that I have ever eaten. We had several vegetarian dishes including a cauliflower buffalo wings and a stuffed pepper which were very flavorful. Other dishes included a beef slider, salad and seafood jambalaya. On the night of the event she came on time with a server and served the food when guests arrived. Dannielle was a pleasure to work with. I would hire her again for my next party.

Cocktail parties: light hor d'oeuvres start at $12 p/person, heavy apps/small plates start at $18 p/person (approx 4-5 options) Dinners: Buffet style start at $20+ p/person (depends on options chosen and how many) Weddings: Dinners (buffet or seated) avg between $25-$45 (basic), $45++ for gourmet dinners, dinners with apps and/or hor d'oeuvres start $30 p/person. Waitstaff and/or staton person additional. Party Trays: Great for small groups (12-40) where only drop off catering is required... Request party tray menu Lunch Delivery: Average $12-$16 p/person. Includes entree, side and dessert. Drinks (non-alcoholic) can be added at $2 p/person. Lunches can be boxed separately or delivered in pans. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have clients that I cater to both in New Orleans (including metro area) as well as clients that live out of state but have destination wedding and events in New Orleans. For in-town and out-of-town clients after the initial email or call we set up a time to meet and do a sample tasting, usually at their home, hotel or rental. We discuss the vision of their event and I answer any questions they have and from there we move forward.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We stared with a food truck (NOLA Girl Food Truck & Catering) in late 2011. In the beginning there were challenges with the city of New Orleans and the new wave of food trucks and the food truck movement as far as areas where food trucks could park and operate and what areas were off limits so we began to focus on special events with our truck. As our popularity grew we started to get more and more requests for catering. In 2015 we put the truck on hiatus and began focusing on our growing catering clientele. Soon there after personal chef services and cooking demos were also being request.
