FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I were awarded 70% of the bids I put out in the past I would say i'm on the low side. Also if you are on a limited income I can help you with jobs at very low or possibly no charge . Which I have done many times in the past.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
****Depending on the type of job. I like to meet with them at the job site, go over the plans make sure we are in tune. Tell them give me a day or two to think about the job because I always come up with better ways to do it. I like taking the time to look at all the different avenues . If the job is big enough I like to take them out for lunch or dinner so we may sit down and discuss what they want done. But number one is I always write up a thorough contract where is my customers know what is going to be done. I even State what's not going to be done if I think there may be a misunderstanding in the future.****
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to a Jr. College for engineering drawing and graphic technology (drafting). get certified as a master carpenter, flooring installer, certain types of roofing and painting courses through your neighborhood Home Depot store. Also completed courses many times in the School of Hard Knocks. Also my son Chase works with me is certified as an air condition and electrical technician who has also been in this business for approximately 17 years. But I think most of our education came from hands on experience.
