- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communicate. There are so many small details hidden in a client's mind regarding what they want in order to make their event special. My job is to work with the client to discover all the details so nothing goes unplanned or is missed. Usually this happens in a (preferable) meeting but can be done over the phone. I have a couple of documents regarding the event and requirements and then we can complete a quote/contract. Depending on the available time until the event, there may be more than one meeting. I do like to visit the event location ahead of time to check for things like power, lighting etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Music was my first love. I was the guy playing the tunes at parties and have been the guy playing at school discos, winter parties, etc. I absolutely love music. I also have worked in a number of customer service organizations and also love people. Socializing and making people happy in turn make me happy.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
On Accident :-) My love for music and making people happy was evident as a teenager and has not changed.
