FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to find out as much about my student in our first meeting to learn their interests, learning styles, strengths and weaknesses. With this knowledge, I like to plan engaging activities based on who they are as an individual. I like to use hands on activities to help them understand and master a concept particularly in math. I strongly believe in incorporating performance arts such as Readers Theater to build reading fluency and comprehension. For my younger students I like to use songs, games, and movement as much as possible! I love making learning fun and building intrinsic motivation and engagement within all of my students!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
