FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The average price for a reading/writing tutor is about $68/hour, and so my pricing is competitive and reflects the value and experience I bring to clients. Often, parents might seek to have two siblings or a student and a friend meet together for a group tutoring session, which offers savings while also delivering strong results to the students.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first seek to identify the customer's long-term and short-term goals, then discuss plans for how to achieve those goals, and then implement the plan based on the customer's needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout my career as a student from high school through college and graduate school, I frequently provided tutoring and writing assistance to classmates. I have provided tutoring services for the last 20 years to students of all ages, expanding into the last 15 years after completing my graduate degree.
