David, was very professional and on time to take photos for our 10th year wedding anniversary. He captured all our special moments and was a pleasure to work with.

Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

Pass on this one. I have hired many professionals on thumbtack, this is without question my worst experience to date. Most of the professionals we hire on here have been exceptional, with the occasional one not being the best but still did a good job. I have a personal rule not to leave feedback unless its positive unless in an extreme circumstance. I can not begin to describe how poor his performance was and why I feel compelled to write this review. Where to begin....? David was hired to film 7 sport games. 4 games the first shoot, 3 games the second. From the first day, one of the games was filmed COMPLETELY OUT OF FOCUS. The second game was entirely there but the worst camera operation I have ever seen. Shaky as if hand held, and could not follow the ball. I have more shots of the sky than actual game play. The third game we received only about 6 minutes of the 40 minute game, and the fourth game we received about 18 minutes. It gets worse. The second day of shooting he had 3 games. Sports are like filming a wedding, you only get one chance to get it right. He showed up late and missed the first half of the first game. He filmed the entire second game (again, some of the WORST camera work from a "Professional"?) Then missed the entire second half of the last game due to running out of battery power? How do you book a job without the proper equipment?? How do you run out of battery power covering less work than the first job?? He brought enough to film 4 games the first time, but not enough for 3 the second?
