- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every request will have a custom price. Pricing is based on size of the project, time given, if any materials need to be provided, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If the calligraphy is for a wedding or other event, I like to know the style and theme so my writing style compliments it perfectly. I learn as much as I can about the client’s vision and desired design so that I do the best work possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have found practice has been the best education and training. There isn’t a text book or class that can teach you the feel of correct and professional calligraphy. Practice also allows me to perfect various styles so I can deliver the design the client wants.
