- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With longer term contracts or multiple clients within one organization or group, clients can receive a discount. For some speaking events - charity or other related groups, fees can be negotiated. Due to my newness to the Thumbtack website, I am also offering all clients earned via this website an additional discount from my normal pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A profile document is sent to the client to ensure we are a good match that also requires them to focus on what it is they want to get out of coaching. I am more interested in how I can add value to the client than I am in making money. If we are not a good fit, I can refer the potential client to someone that might be a better fit. After our free consultation, I will recommend a growth plan that could include one-on-one coaching, group coaching, or enrollment in my Empowerment Mentoring on-line bi-weekly program. Whatever the prognosis, it is designed for the client to meet their needs and growth level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Public Administration, 2 Human Resource Certifications through SHRM and HRCI, and 27 prior years of work experience with the Federal Government as Senior Level Manager overseeing operations, hiring, recruitment, and a $60 million dollar budget with direct and indirect oversight of over 4,000 employees. I am an Executive Director with the John Maxwell Team and President and Owner of Menifield and Assoc., LLC. I have conducted leadership training and masterminds for hundreds and spoken in front of groups as large as 500. I am a DISC Certified Behavioral Specialist and am certified to teach the Maxwell Method of Sales, Speaking (thru speaking clubs), sales, and leadership. I have also been certified as a Resolving Official for EEO/CR complaints and have helped small businesses with on boarding, recruiting, interviewing and hiring. As one who was greatly successful in a career but decided to leave in order to live in my purpose, I have a connection to both lanes - the professional manager and the one with the itching to do, be, and have more.
