We had a few home monitors that made us concerned about elevated VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in our home, so we wanted to get an official VOC test to quantify not only the amount of VOCs in our home, but what types. It was surprisingly difficult to find a company that could do it, but Elvis with A&A Property Inspections, LLC was able to help me out! Elvis spent about 35 minutes on the phone with me after I reached out to him, listening to my concerns. He said he did not think we had a problem, but of course he was willing to help me run the test if I wanted the peace of mind, which I did! I appreciated that he was clearly not trying to get money from me, he actually wanted to analyze the situation and provide his honest thoughts. However, I did want to have VOC testing done for peace of mind. Unfortunately, the lab he has been working with for 15 years has made recent changes to their protocols, so it required many weeks and numerous follow ups by both Elvis and myself to get the job done, but someone from his team came by to drop off a canister and then pick it up 24h later, and drove it directly to the lab over an hour away. Thankfully, the results were reassuring! The one other place that could do VOC testing for me would only take a 2h sample, which I did not think was sufficient. I appreciate that Elvis's team was able to take a 24h sample. Elvis is medical doctor with training as an allergist and is very knowledgeable! The lab ended up charging him more than expected to run the test, and when I offered to pay the difference, he refused, and honored his original quote to me, which I appreciated! He and his colleague, Wesley, were both very personable and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend reaching out to them if you have any concerns about the air quality in your home!

We discuss the inspection process on the phone. We also go over the type of property on the phone and what needs to be done. We then book the inspection via a confirmation email.
