FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Contractors bid jobs differently. Bids can very from hundreds to thousands between contractors for the same job. Very important that customer understand licensed contractors pay fees before ever stepping foot on jobsite. Contractor license, local business license, workers comp, general liability insurance, advertising, overhead, etc. When bidding a job it is important a contractor recoups some of these cost and make a profit while giving the customer a price they are happy with. No one contractor has this down perfect. Some contractors may lose or break even on some jobs, hence giving the disparity between bids. Any company that fails to make a profit on a consistent basis will fail.
