Lauren, from Butterflies and Bows Photography, photographed my recent home birth and newborn shoot. She was wonderful in both scenarios! At my home birth, she was able to capture the beauty and challenges of labor without interfering with the process. It was so nice, once our baby was born, to not have to worry about photographing all of the important events that take place just after birth (skin to skin, measurements, first feeding, etc.) because we knew Lauren had it covered. We were able to just be with and enjoy our brand new baby knowing all of that would still be documented.
With the newborn shoot, she was patient with my sweet baby. She never seemed rushed or annoyed if a certain pose was taking longer than expected and when my daughter didn't like one of the props being used, she was quick to improvise. I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone seeking a photographer to capture a special moment in their life.
