Tom and Tom power washed the vinyl siding on my home which had several areas of moss/mold, they did a fantastic job and the siding now looks fantastic. They also power washed the wood deck and did a great job with that. Those were the jobs they were hired for and, in the course of doing the contracted work, they found other smaller repairs that needed to be done and took care of them too! They responded promptly to my request on Thumbtack and returned all subsequent calls in a very timely manner. Their work is impeccable and their costs are very, very reasonable. I would highly recommend them and am planning on using their services again on another household repair.

I hired T&T last October to stain my deck as I wanted to get it done before the winter. They scheduled an afternoon time to come out which was already a mistake with the limited fall daylight. They didn't finish until after dark and then had to come back out a second time to get all the areas they missed because they couldn't see. Earlier this spring I noticed sections of the deck were already chipping and peeling severely in some sections. I called Tom to come out and take a look at it and after some back and forth he let me know he would come out early this past Sunday morning. After reviewing the deck on Sunday morning he said he would come back out Weds but couldn't give me a time. After not showing up on Weds I got a text later that night saying he would come the next morning or afternoon but he wasn't sure when. I responded firmly but politely that I need a specific time because I have two toddlers and we can't keep scheduling our day around him coming out and that I needed him to come in the morning so that the job is done right and the stain has time to dry. It's now Saturday and I haven't heard from him since. So I ended up restaining the deck myself today after spending $500 to have T&T do it last year. Tom needs to work on his time management skills and responsiveness. Each time he came out, it was always after some other job and it seemed like he was just trying to cram in as much work as possible instead of allowing the proper amount of time to get the job done. The work on my deck suffered because of it and now Tom won't stand behind his work after blowing me off for three days. Buyer beware.

Tom was extremely quick in responding to my repair request. And Tom and his partner Tom were just as fast in coming to my house and making the necessary roof repairs. I thought the charge for the repairs was very reasonable. I would definitely hire again. In is my understanding, they do a wide-range handyman work.

Tom and Tom came out to shingle my shed. I talked to them for the first time in the morning and the shed was finished that afternoon. I'm very picky about quality and these guys had no issues passing my inspection. They will definitely be hearing from me again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on what kind of job it is can change how I may price it, some hourly like painting and other jobs like roof repair but a roof replacements would be done by square footage and / or if it needs a tear off of old roof. I hope this helps customers understand it is also hard to quote jobs sight unseen but I do the best I can to be fair to each and every customer and myself with the info I'm presented.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Sending customer a message with my quote and try to give my customer the best possible quote, and add my phone number in that message so as to help adjusting quote by getting more info from customer I like to be as fair as possible. I treat people the way I would like to be treated and not cheated
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a a certified and Licensed home inspector and know how a home is put together and how it works as a system, from the roof to the foundation. My crew and I have the knowledge of many component in a home and can repair and / or replace most of them
