I've got massages from Jessica since December 2017. I keep having low-back problems from time to time as I'm sitting all day at work and my hamstrings become too tight. She carefully listens to my requests and develops unique plans combining various massage techniques, moves, and stretches. She resolves the problem areas with smooth, uniform pressure, and also helps me become deeply relaxed. She works very efficiently and with great precision, and usually leaves me with some great tips on posture. She thoroughly understands the human body and never hesitates to explain the cause of my problems with the scientific names of muscles, ligaments, and bones. Jessica is extremely professional and takes great care to make me feel comfortable throughout the session. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I provide in-home, mobile massage where I come to your home or business. Including travel and setup my prices are 60 minutes/$120, 75 minutes/$140, 90 minutes/$160. Price includes aromatherapy. If you'd rather come to my location, I work out of a spa which has very competitive prices at 60 minutes/$85, 75 minutes/$100, 90 minutes/$120. I can provide the details as needed. Understand that my mobile business is priced as such because I am the business owner and responsible for all expenses, whereas at the spa I am an employee. I am also available for on-site chair massage events for $80 per hour. sessions can last from 5-20 minutes per person as designated by the hiring client. Generally, I do two-four hour events, but we can discuss any variations as needed. Price includes aromatherapy. Cancellation Policy: I have a 24 hour cancellation/reschedule policy. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment there is a 50% fee collected.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We can talk over the phone to discuss your needs and goals for our session as well as the best times for you. Once we set up an appointment I will send an email with a general intake form. I'll ask about normal things like how often do you get massages, if you have any areas of focus, any areas to avoid, any illness, injuries, or medical conditions I need to be aware of in line with general intake. All information is completely confidential.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was trained in an Advanced Massage Therapy program in Chicago, IL and interned at a spa as well a triathlete training facility. I've had training in various techniques including Lomi Lomi, reflexology, Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial therapy, assisted stretching, PNF/reciprocal inhibition, and comfort touch. I am prenatal certified and can work with woman who are past 13 weeks of their pregnancy. My practice is a safe place for LGBT+.
