FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can be a tricky thing. I am flexible depending on the overall amount and effort it takes for the look at hand. I do however consider myself a seasoned artist and true professional, and will not usually take anything less than $50 for an individual application. Again, depending on how far the travel is, and the amount desired, this could vary/change. I value that time and money is precious on every end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to have a telephone consultation. I ask a series of questions to gain the initial desired look from the client, expectations, skin history, allergies, etc. Then if it seems like the right fit, I set up a trial application and appointment. This doesn't alway apply to every customer, depending on the special occasion or time frame. This is usually a staple with weddings and brides. I keep a very open line of communication with my clients, and ask them to call, text, email me with any questions, concerns, ideas, etc. I ask them to send me any inspirational photos from all social media platforms and the web.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed esthetician, which plays a quintessential role into understanding a flawless makeup application. Not only that, but educated knowledge with ingredients, color choice, and the overall esthetic to put a look together. I have worked for several makeup lines, and have taken professional makeup courses and certifications such as Jane Iredale University and MAC Pro classes. Continuing education is vital to this industry, and I am happy to say I have ten plus years under my belt.
