- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in communications from University of Washington 2015. At UW I started learning how to use the Adobe Creative Suite software during my junior year. I am now an expert user. I also focused on user centered design and research also known as UX (user experience).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved to be creative, but I could never draw well. I was always jealous of those people who could draw. When I learned how to use the computer to be creative it opened up a whole new world for me. I instantly fell in love with the non-permanence of the digital world: copy-cut-paste- MAGIC. I love having a creative job, and I love it even more knowing that people actually like my work and that it is used for something more than just art on the wall.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
At my full time job I work with 40+ Realtors making everything they need from flyers to business cards and mailers. For new agents I develop an entire brand for them. I have also had a handful of outside jobs from gardening services to chiropractors and seasonal greeting cards.
