- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Private Lessons: First lesson is 2 hours for $120 Afterwards lessons are 1 hour for $75 (A travel rate may be applied if outside of Thurston or Pierce County) Board-and-Train: This service means you drop your pup off with me and I do all of the training for you! $375 per week For local clients I offer a "daycare" training option. It is the same as being enrolled in the full board-and train program, but you drop-off and pick-up daily. For dogs that have been through our program we love to have them back 1x a week for some "tune ups". $65 per day
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to listen to an owner and be sure I really understand what their goals are and then I create a plan of action with them. I am there every step of the way to troubleshoot their needs and celebrate their successes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed. Or CPDT-KA. It is a widely acknowledged exam delivered by a third-party council. I have also completed my KPA-CTP, Karen Pryor Academy - Certified Training Partner. This program was 7 months long and required me to travel 2 hours away several times to meet with my instructor to be evaluated on my knowledge and training skills.
