What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically we am slightly lower than my competitors. We are able to do this because we rely mainly on the quality work we perform and the referrals we receive from our customers. We are also very experience in using xactimate estimating software when dealing in insurance claims .
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I will meet with the customer to go over what we need to do to meet their needs and expectations. One thing that separates us is we only get $ 200 earnest deposit and only require payment when the project is completed and our customer is satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over a decade of experience
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started originally working on roofs. I eventually sold for several roofing & exterior companies and decided that I could provide a less aggressive and more satisfying experience for my customers. Since then I have been in business for the last 4 years and haven't looked back
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all types of customers.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Most of my projects have multiple trades involved and can take 2-4 weeks. For example I am currently doing a project where we are replacing their roof, siding & gutters and have completed that in 2 weeks. The more intricate the better. I genuinely enjoy providing a service that is tangible that my customers enjoy for years to come.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Pick a contractor who listens to what you would like and isn't high pressure. Get a feel for what a fair market price should be and go with a contractor who is fairly priced, not to high or low and has referrals to back their work. Someone who follows through on commitment and doesn't ask for money before doing the work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do your own research on the contractors work and the material to be used. A good contractor will provide all of that for you.
