FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price according to the complexity of the work. Some flat fee pricing is also available for accounting and business tax returns.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a short basic discussion to understand the client's tax history and activities affecting the tax return, I determining the client's needs and produce a plan of action to fulfill that need. Completing a client Tax Organizer might be recommenced to maximize tax opportunities. While most work can be completed electronically via phone, text, and secure tax portals, a face-to-face meeting can be beneficial in some cases.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
36 years of IRS Revenue Agent experience made me aware of how under served small and medium businesses are in tax and accounting markets. Their needs are high but their budgets are low. I hope to provide them with continuous affordable financial assistance to properly manage their business. My education includes a Bachelor's in Accounting, a Master's in Taxation, and an advanced QuickBooks Online certification. I also taught accounting as well as corporate and individual taxation as a adjunct professor at two local universities.
