FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing system for my services, as design projects tend to have vastly different scopes! I charge flat rates for design however, and the rates tend to increase depending on the size of your audience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I make sure that I have a firm grasp of what the client is looking for - usually using a quick questionnaire that helps the client express his or her ideas and project scope. Then, I create the first draft (with options if requested), and the client has a chance to go over them and request edits. Then I make the requested changes, and the client selects his or her final design. I then deliver the design in as many file formats as requested - and mail the final printed product if that was requested as well. Any revisions beyond the first round will cause my fee to increase.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have four years of graphic design experience under my belt. I've worked in different parts of the design industry - a marketing firm (where I created logos & branding, advertising, web mockup designs, infographics, etc.) and two different magazines in New York City where I was an editorial designer. I am currently a freelance graphic designer and hand letterer, where I provide a range of design services for many different types of clients.
