FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is typically based on an hourly/day rate - prior to beginning a project, an estimate is provided to the client and those hours will not be exceeded w/o prior consent. All hours are logged and a time sheet is provided along w/ the invoice upon project completion. Flat/Project rates are also possible based on a projects specific requirements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide all potential clients w/ a simple but comprehensive project questionnaire. This can be completed and returned at the client's convenience. I'm also happy to schedule a brief call to go over the questionnaire and answer any questions that may arise. The information that these answers provide allow me to determine if I'm a good fit for the project and also help me to generate a ballpark quote for the client's consideration.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in audio engineering (2003) and formal training in graphic design and video production. I have worked full-time in audio and video production since 2004. Apart from my career as a motion designer/animator, I have worked professionally as an audio engineer/Pro Tools operator, studio manager, production manager, camera operator and video editor. I also have specialized training in the creation of automated After Effects templates on the Sunday Sky Smart Video platform.
