Introduction: Hello and welcome to Sara Alidina Photography, thank you for visiting our home! I’m Fatema Alidina, a Central Florida based newborn photographer. I have had a love for newborn and family photography since I was a volunteer photographer in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Children’s Hospital in Southern California, my home for over 25 years. I graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a double major in Communication and Sociology in 2010. As I built my career in media and advertising, my love for capturing moments only grew in scope over time – I would use all my weekends and free time to do what I love, to take newborn and family photos Truly, the birth of my son in 2012 is what transformed my perspective and appreciation for newborn photography. I wanted to capture all of his baby magic and remember every little detail, from his mushy little lips to his perfect Bambi eyelashes, to the angel smiles he would share in his sleep. Today, I am so thankful for the photographs and memories that we have of our children at such a pure and delicate stage of life. I feel so incredibly blessed to work doing what I love and to offer other parents with the ability to cherish their precious family moments as well. As your newborn and family photographer, my goal is to create a comfortable and relaxed session that establishes calming energy for your newborn and family, therefore creating naturally simplistic and beautiful photographs to last a lifetime. FUN FACTS ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER, FATEMA! I’m a Mommy of three to my life’s greatest blessings and a wife to my love and wonderful husband. Sara Alidina is my daughter’s name, whose birth pushed me to start my photography business. I am and will always be a California Cali Girl! Safety is of primary and utmost importance to myself while photographing your newborn. I’m addicted to textures, knits, furs and neutrals! Simplicity drives my aesthetic vision. Yoga is life! I took my first photography class in my sophomore year of high school and fell in love with capturing moments in time ever since. There is nothing that a strong cup of chai and an episode of Friends won’t fix! God is first, and family is everything.
