FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Phone Call: The first step is a discovery phone call so I can learn what it is that you need. Learning how you'll be using your images and what's important to you will help me plan out your session so I can create the perfect images for YOU. Image Selection: For most headshot sessions, the image selection will occur immediately after the session. Retouched images are ready in three business days.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My business portrait clients primarily fall into three categories: Those looking for a new job, solo-entrepreneurs building their business, and offices that regularly send new staff members to me to be photographed.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at their body of work--their online portfolio. Does their style align with the vision you have in mind for your professional image? If you have a particular style in mind and you have a sample inspiration image, send the image to your photographer. Discussing the particulars of the image is a great way for both the photographer and client to talk through the details of the setup required to achieve the same look as the inspiration image. Topics include posing, lighting, backdrop, clothing, jewelry, and expression.
