I know for a fact I wouldn’t have worked out every Monday for the last year without Crystal. The best part is she is great about adding variety to every single workout. She is very supportive and responsive.Jan 17, 2019
Crystal is a sweet girl but lacks professionalism. She was late for EVERY SINGLE SESSION. She would come up with the most random excuses for her tardiness or for why she was canceling within minutes of the time she was supposed to arrive. I finally had enough of her showing up late and lame excuses (I.e. “the phone company canceled my GPS because of a billing problem and I couldn’t find your house)— screenshot of the text that her phone fell behind her bed so she overslept. When I told her I couldn’t work with her anymore, she argued with me and refused to refund my unused sessions.Aug 31, 2018VerifiedCrystal's Fitness's reply
Hi Tracy, I’m sorry you feel dissatisfied with me being 3-5min late when my GPS never took me to your house since day 1. In this situation, I honestly had a bad week and logistics was an issue. I would never purposefully be late to a client. Our initial session was supposed to start at 6a but I had called you at 5:50am to let you know I was lost and get you to send me a share location. Being that I’m not from atlanta (from Illinois) I still have to rely on gps to get to my clients. All I needed was to reset my phone. Although you asked for us to move our scheduled workout times last minute twice from 6a to 5:30 to 5a/5:15a, I was still willing to try and accommodate you. Even when I let you know my daughter injured her back and was concerned about her getting to the bus I was still accommodating. In any travel trainer situation there is a transition for logistics when getting to a new client so I can admit I’m not perfect there. However, I do have other early morning 5a clients who are very happy and have resigned for well over 3-9 months. You have signed a contract that clearly states my cancellation and refund policy, so I’m unable to offer you a refund. I was also willing to offer you a few complimentary sessions and not let this mishap happen again, but you were unwilling to reason. You must’ve liked the training as you asked for me to increase your training from 1 day to 2 days a week after 2 sessions, so I wish we could have discussed this sooner Before you felt you had reached the end of your rope. Sincerely, Crystal S (I would post screenshots to justify my statements, but am unable to based on thumbtack.)
Crystal helped me achieve my goals of how I wanted my body to look for my wedding. I gave her a short 8 weeks to help me tone my arms and abs so I could look my best in my wedding dress, and that's exactly what she did! She helped me lose 11 pounds and 2 inches from my waist in just 8 weeks. Her training includes meal plans and suggestions for supplements. She made the meal plan accommodating to my needs. She gave me the motivation and confidence I needed while working out. Before Crystal, I would just go to the gym and do cardio because I honestly did not know how to work most of the machines. She shows you how to work all the machines and has built my confidence up to where I am no longer afraid of the free weight side of the gym or what I like to call "the big girl side." Along with the meal plan she gives you a weekly calendar with what you should be doing each day which really helps keep you on track. I have kept Crystal as my personal trainer even after my wedding because she is that great!!Jan 10, 2019Verified

I feel really bad about my body and health prior to getting with Crystal. I had a wedding to plan in a short time and even started stress eating instead of losing weight....I was gaining weight. She came along and within two weeks, I was feeling cool and confident about myself. She started with a meal program and a weekly workout schedule. Crystal was empathic to my weak areas and exercises were modified until I gained more strength. I feel so good right now and want to continue with her even after my wedding next weekend. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I price my services depending on the client's goals and needs. I typically charge for sessions up front at 1 month, 3 month, and 6+ months on contract. My price includes: – Initial Assessment including circumference measurements, body fat, and weigh-in – I bring fitness to you, so I will come train you in person with my own equipment or show you how to use your own – Use of Online Training App with workout videos and meal plan (optional) in conjunction to in-person training – Option for in-person, online, and/or blended training (both online and in person) I also offer training packages, professional meal plans, and discounted rates when you book your training session with a monthly package. Please let me know if you have any questions. I’d love to set up a time for a free phone/skype consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My typical process for working with a new customer is to have them complete a fitness program questionnaire online via email as well as send my brochure with my bio and services. Once goals have been established, then other required documents need to be signed in order to start training. Those documents may include a Par-Q form, liability document, and personal training document. If the client has any chronic health issues, a medical release form may be needed by their doctor in order to begin training. Lastly, I would send an invoice to pay for the training sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 15 years experience working in health, fitness, and wellness including: corporate fitness, college recreation centers, and commercial gyms. I have a B.S. degree in Community Health, National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer Certification, an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer Certification, and First Aid CPR/AED Certification.
