- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In general, an existing resume that needs updating is approximately $50. If a resume needs to be created, it will cost about $100. Cover letters are approximately $25. Career counseling is $25/hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work thru the internet for the initial correspondence. Each service is customized, but generally speaking, if a person is interested in hiring me, I quote the price and ask the person to send me their manuscript or most recent resume. Once I look at the work I will be editing/developing/creating, I will send an agreement for services. A 50% deposit is required via PayPal with the outstanding payment due upon receipt of the finished product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My mother co-founded Fiesta Publishing over 20 years ago. I assisted with editing and other publishing projects. She let the business go and I resurrected the company in 2014. I also served as director of a community based program that assisted people with barriers to employment with career counseling and resume/cover letter needs.
