Brittney’s creativity and ability to see great matches is mind blowing! She’s worked her magic on my wardrobe twice, expanding the way I look at my own pieces. She’s paired things I never would have considered, and the compliments I’ve received!! Not only do I refer often to my “inventory” of outfits, I’ve learned to experiment more with other pieces on my own. This is the story of how I got my groove back. I’ve always enjoyed putting together fun outfits and exercising my creativity through my wardrobe....until I had kids. Somehow I quickly became the sad dumpy looking mom....no makeup, hair with little style, stretchy baggy clothes, nothing waxed or groomed for way longer than I care to admit, and a body I struggled to dress. Following a promotion at work I finally looked I the mirror and said enough is enough. Somehow, through an internet search, I stumbled upon Brittney’s profile. She looked fun and artsy and something about her just jumped out at me. So I got the nerve to call her and confess my fashion sins. Brittney was extremely supportive, fun and knowledgeable! I just enjoyed chatting with her and I knew right away she was the one I wanted to help me be “me” again. She came to my house and did an edit of my wardrobe and then we embarked on an 8 hour shop-til-you-drop extravaganza. She took the time to look at Pinterest pins and really listened to what I was looking for and was able to come up with a list of stores that had exactly what I needed. Her brand knowledge is amazing. She was able to guide me to the right stores and save me from wasting time at others thanks to her expertise. It was so much fun shopping with her....it was like we were girlfriends for years! She made it fun, no pressure, and informative. Every day I am so excited to put together outfits and text her pictures of my triumphs, and most importantly, I feel good about my body again. Brittney was able to come into my closet, have the perfect eye for what could be reused, what was used, and what new fashions I could create. She's not about having you go out and spend money … In fact, I bought nothing new. She's all about reinventing the wardrobe that you have. She did my entire walk-in closet and cedar closet in four hours. Will be having her back soon to do my husbands next!

I have had my closet edited several times and found that Brittney has a good understanding of what my style is and what works for my body and occupation. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat rate for all of my services. If you live 30 minutes or more, outside of the city of Pittsburgh, a travel fee will be included in pricing. I accept cash or check only.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultation comes first, so that we can prioritize and assess your needs (this can be done via telephone or quick visit to your closet). After the assessment, I can brief you on your next steps/customized plan of action. Appointments can be as long as you want, and as often as you want, but each session is normally 4 hours (in person), 2hrs virtually.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Stylist and Talent Scout / Manager for Modcloth.com for almost 8 years. My background and studies include: Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design from FIT, New York (4 years) Studied Fashion Design and pattern making in Milan, Italy (1 year) Finished my final year of studies at Polimoda in Florence Italy (1 year)
