FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process with working with a new customer is like no other you've ever experienced. We are really awesome people that are honest, hard working and fun. We always apply good humor to our experience with new customers and we get people excited about working with us. Our goal is to get to know our customers, and listen to their ideas about the event. Then we build a portfolio with all their needs and wants. Once we understand your vision for the event, we educate and inform the customer with all the possibilities we can accomplish while staying on budget. We keep an open mind to every customers unique style, so we fully understand that no two events are ever the same. Our approach is honest, friendly and informative.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Event Planner graduated from Keiser University with a degree in Hospitality management. As a previous Publix Customer Service Manager she knows the logistics of completing tasks in a timely manner as well as understanding how to communicate and lead associates as well as handling all customer relations. Her 14 year career with Publix ended when she decided to pursue her dream of partying for a living... as an event planner that is. My career as a DJ started at the young age of 22 when I worked as an apprentice DJ with a reputable entertainment company. I learned about sound equipment, lighting and staging. I graduated from Scratch Academy in Miami and have 11 years of experience. I have a vocational certificate from ATC in electrical service and currently enrolled in Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Palm Beach.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a love for music, so I started going out to DJ events with my friends as a teenager. Within a year I started mixing with them and soon after I was going out on my own, now I am the proud owner of That Awesome Entertainment Co along with my wife who is in my book the best Event Planner out there (I know I'm a little biased)! We love what we do! My wife started a event planner by coming out to help me with some of the weddings that didn't have "Day of", at that point she realized how much she enjoyed and started taking clases to learn how to become better and start planning the events. For her it was something she never thought of doing as a carrier, but today, she can't see herself doing anything else.
