FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the beginning, I want to make sure to gather all the information about what you want your brand or design to convey. This may include key words, a photo "mood board" with images that inspire, color schemes and any other ideas to give me a good start on your design goal. From there, depending on the project, I will begin to sketch and build various ideas to give us a direction to go with. This initial building could typically contain anywhere between 5-50 ideas, depending on the simplicity or complexity of the idea. It usually takes multiple rounds and revisions to obtain the final design, though there are times where a client goes with an idea from the first round. I am flexible in the way I work and would definitely be willing to try another way of starting a new design project. Please feel free to ask questions at any time during the quote process!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been interested in creating art for as long as I can remember, and I first had an interest in digital design in 1996 when I was 10 years old and my mom got Photoshop for the first time. Since then I have done my best to stay educated and with the current versions of Adobe Creative Suite. I started teaching myself how to use the programs, then I eventually went to college to learn the more technical aspects of art and design.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My typical clients include start-ups, non-profits and local health & beauty professionals, but I have also worked with musicians, artists, hospitality agents and many more!
