FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
What clients get when they book a session with me is 90 minutes of consultation and then a written summary of our discussion including a list of action items necessary for their next steps emailed to them. I also offer remote online or telephone consultations so clients don't need to live in the Portland Oregon area to work with me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to our first session, I have clients complete and return a household income and expense worksheet and an asset and liabilities worksheet. I do this so that I can get a sense of my clients current financial situation before we begin which allows me during the session to focus on discussing client financial goals and strategies to achieve their goals rather than collecting financial data.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Accredited Financial Counselor through the Association of Financial Counseling, Planning and Education. My AFC certification credential number is 10165329. My status in good standing can be verified at AFCPE's website. My training was funded through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Military Spouse Fellowship Program. I also have a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Certificate in Community Mediation
