FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is pretty simplistic. Most customers contact me with a project in mind then I go out and give them a free estimate. If they agree to the price then I print out a personalized contract with the details of their job and set an installation date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Been in the fencing business for 10 years. I've installed just about every type of fence you could think of. I have operated all types of heavy equipment.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for a fencing company right out of college after acquiring a bachelor's degree in education. Once I realized I wanted to start my own business I branched out on my own and have been running my own business for the past few years and I love it. Most companies have owners, salesman, and installers and it is difficult to build a rapport with a customer when there are so many people on the seen. I play the role of them all even though I have people that work for me, that way the customer knows what to expect from the beginning. They are meeting the owner, and they know who is going to be doing their installation.
