- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I base my labor charges on current market costs while maximizing time on the job to complete all work as economical as possible. Here is a small listing of installation fees: Floor tile: standard pattern $2.95 sq ft diagonal or other $3.75 Wall tile: standard pattern $4.25 sq ft diagonal or other $4.95 sq ft Tile backsplash $300 any pattern up to 25 sq ft $15 sq ft over 26 sq ft and up Standard 4' x 4' walk-in shower $1400: includes labor only, material costs are based on customer selection. Tub/shower basin 3 walls standard: $850, labor only material costs are based on customer selection. Heated flooring under tile $3.25 sq ft labor only. Material costs based on customer selection. interior non support wall $2.75 sq ft, includes labor and standard 2"x4" studs with nails. Does not include drywall. Demolition fees: Tile over concrete sub-flooring $2.50 sq ft tile over wood sub-flooring with underlayment $3.75 sq ft hardwood $2.00 sq ft Appliances: $50 each Toilet removal and install : $75 Interior wall $0.55 sq ft
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to let any new customer go over my portfolio, allowing the customer to decide in his/her own time. I offer a list of verifiable clients, including builders and homeowners. I do my best to offer design options to match the vision of the client.
