- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes we do have standard pricing for most items such as plumbing fixtures, outlets, can lights, doors etc. Just know that everyone has different taste and there is a wide variety of different options and upgrades that can change standard pricing!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once contacted by a customer it is best to set an appointment for me to come out and measure and design your space. On most straight forward projects I will be able to give you a price quote on the spot. More complicated projects may require several visits. Once we have come to an agreement on the work to be preformed the production process starts. This is when we make all selections of doors, trim, cabinetry etc. All the materials will be ordered and plans will be signed off on. At this time a delivery date and start of project date will be selected. From there we are at the install process and depending on the project and scope of work it may take 2-12 weeks to complete your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Out of high school I became a licensed plumber. I was a production assistant, then field manager, then project manager for one of the largest remodeling companies in the chicagoland area all in a 5+/- year span. I also trained our designers and consultants in the field. I have managed over 200 basement projects. From drawings to material ordering to on site management, pretty much everything you can think of.
