If you're thinking of using Greg for a photography project of any kind, make sure you take him and run. I'm very detail oriented, but he blew me away with how much he took hold of my idea for the pictures I wanted. I felt so secure putting the project in his hands that I was able to sit back and enjoy the fun parts of the project. I would recommend him to anyone, and plan on working with him again.Sep 10, 2017Verified
I found myself in urgent need for a photographer and thank goodness I found Gregory Hitchcock. Gregory responded to my request promptly and immediately got to work trying to understand the vision I was going for. After emailing with me Gregory also set up a phone conference in order to make sure all of my questions and concerns were answered. Once hired Gregory continued to work with me through different media to make sure I was going to get what I wanted. When the day arrived to work with Gregory he could not have been more polite, professional and eager to work. The day went smoothly and I truly received organic, non-staged photos. Aside from the amazing images Gregory sets himself apart by being very flexible and willing to go the extra mile. With no reservations I would recommend Gregory for any project that requires images that truly capture the special moments.Apr 25, 2017Verified
Greg did a phenomenal job for our engagement pictures and our wedding! We strongly suggest him to anyone that we know of that is getting married. He has an amazing ability to capture moments that last a lifetime.Feb 16, 2017
Gregory Hitchcock Photography took exquisite photos of our wedding. He took the time to make all the moments he captured look pristine. He had us do all the necessary group photos before the ceremony so we could move on to family and friends after the ceremony. I will tell you, you must use Greg!Feb 16, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Typically my fee is between $1,000 - $2,000 for a full day wedding. It is difficult to establish a stand alone fee but basically my fee for a 12 hour wedding day is $1,000. Additionally, there may be other fee added to that based on various aspects of the wedding day such as but not limited to: Permits, equipment rental, special liabilities, parking, extra staff, etc. I recommend that a couple interested in learning more about booking me submit to me a basic summary of their wedding day including the various locations. From there I will respond with a bid for my coverage. I always explain upfront any and all expenses associated with my coverage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When a couple approaches me with the possibility of shooting their wedding, the first step is to schedule a face to face meeting. This allows me to show a full portfolio of my latest work as well as describe the process of planning and shooting a typical wedding day. This summery answers a majority of the questions a couple has about wedding photography and how I work. Then I turn the conversation on the couple. I ask them to tell me about themselves, where they met, their lives together, etc. From that discussion I can start to figure out how I will customize my coverage to match their style, tastes, and personality. No two couples are the same. I never cover a wedding in the same way. Each wedding day I try to make the unique personalities of the couple come through in the images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I possess a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, with a photography concentration from Monmouth College of Liberal Arts. I shot my first wedding in July of 2004 and since then I have covered over 300 events of various different sizes. I have shot in major cities and in rural area. Examples of my work, including full wedding galleries, can be found on my website.
